SCOTT A. GOGINSKY, CFA®
Scott values the small firm culture and local emphasis he has found at Biondo Investment Advisors. He believes it is much more fulfilling to help manage the money of individuals, rather than doing it for institutions as he has in the past, understanding that the impact is more significant and that individuals and families can directly benefit.
In 2010, Scott joined Biondo Investment Advisors where he is now responsible for equity research and portfolio management.
Scott began his career at Metropolitan Life in 1996, and later became a securities analyst at ING Investment Management. In 2000, he joined Wachovia Securities as a sell-side research analyst, covering the consumer sector. Most recently, he was an analyst and portfolio manager at Schwartz Investment Counsel.
Scott graduated from the University of Kansas with Bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Business Administration. He has an MBA from Oakland University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®). He is also a member of the CFA Institute.
Married with twin teenage boys, Scott is involved in coaching school sports, and the booster club. His kids are involved in football, cross country, track and have black belts in karate. Scott is a voracious reader, consuming two to three books a week, and is a sports junkie with special interest in his favorite team, the Chicago Bears.
