Senior Equity Research Analyst

We are seeking a Senior Equity Research Analyst to join our Investment Team in our Sparta, NJ office.

This is a hands-on, fundamental research role for an experienced analyst (3–5 years) seeking meaningful involvement in portfolio decision-making—not a siloed support role. The analyst will work closely with portfolio managers, contribute directly to investment discussions, and help drive disciplined, long-term investment outcomes for clients.

This is an on-site position based in Sparta, NJ. Relocation assistance and remote arrangements are not available. We are seeking candidates within commuting distance.

What You’ll Do

Equity Research & Due Diligence

  • Lead analytical coverage of portfolio holdings
  • Build, maintain, and refine financial models and valuation frameworks
  • Conduct in-depth fundamental research and risk analysis
  • Monitor industry, company, and macro developments
  • Attend conferences and engage with management teams
  • Develop relationships with sell-side analysts and IR teams

Portfolio Support

  • Prepare earnings summaries and research briefs
  • Maintain investment theses and supporting documentation
  • Contribute directly to portfolio discussions
  • Support investment commentaries and client communications

Research Process

  • Improve research workflows, including AI-enabled tools and automation
  • Participate actively in Investment Team meetings

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of equity research experience (buy-side or sell-side)
  • CFA Charterholder or active CFA candidate strongly preferred
  • Strong financial modeling and valuation skills
  • Ability to independently manage research coverage
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and Bloomberg (Python/R and AI tools a huge plus)
  • Must reside within reasonable commuting distance of Sparta, NJ
